Huatai's 5L Subcritical Extraction Pilot Plant Heads to Zhangzhou Food Science Institute in Boost to Research Innovation

Recently, a 5L subcritical extraction pilot plant, custom-developed by Henan Huatai Intelligent Equipment Group for the Zhangzhou Food Science Research Institute of Minnan Normal University, has completed all debugging procedures and was officially shipped and delivered. The deployment of this equipment will provide key technical support for the university's research on the extraction of heat-sensitive components in the food sector, facilitating scientific research and the transformation of results.

The delivered pilot plant leverages the group's self-developed core technology of subcritical low-temperature extraction, adopting a "room-temperature extraction, low-temperature desolventization" process. It enables the extraction of active components at temperatures below 40°C, thereby maximizing the retention of active substances and nutrients in food raw materials and addressing the issue of component degradation associated with traditional high-temperature processing. Equipped with an autonomous PLC fully automatic control system, the equipment allows precise regulation of extraction pressure and solvent ratio. It supports trial extractions of various materials, including plant oils and fats, natural pigments, and functional components, with residual oil content controllable below 1% and residual solvent below 50ppm, meeting research-grade accuracy requirements.

As a National Green Factory, a National-Level Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New (SRUN) "Little Giant" Enterprise, and a listed company on the New Third Board (NEEQ), Huatai Intelligent Equipment Group has over 30 years of experience in the plant extraction field. The group has accumulated more than 80 national patents and participated in the formulation of over 10 industry standards.
